Hustle Mode

Focus to achieve my goals. Take care of business to solidify my future. The transition is essential. Don't follow your heart, this next chapter is going to require intelligence and instincts. • Mainly to summarise the discussion and most importantly to document down the SAPEG recommendations (I can review your draft afterwards)
        • SAPEG have been requested to convene a meeting out-of-session to discuss PPMC/P credentialing processes.
        • Specifically, we are being requested to formulate advice and recommendations for candidates who have had their current credentialing lapse.
        • SAPEG have been requested to consider the specific questions below:
          • What training / review is needed when credentialing has lapsed, and at what point would the candidate need to undergo the initial training again?
          • How long is the period of time away from PPMP where re-credentialing is no longer appropriate and further training / review is required (noting current procedure only has recommendations regarding more than 6 months away from PPMP)
          • What do we recommend as the appropriate training / review requirements in these situations – i.e., the credentialing requirements currently in place or any additional requirements required?
      • Please note RE licences – for PPMP prescribing licences our newly credentialed PPMP staff have been given a licence from DDU for 12 months. We have recently been advised that re-credentialed staff will receive a licence extension of 2 years, so we may need to consider in the context of the above also.
      • As mentioned in our Teams group, AA is currently working on the framework for PPMC/P credentialing and will be joining us also – thanks Anita.
      • Please come ready to discuss the above points and you may like to reach out to relevant staff within your LHN to discuss beforehand.
