Section 3 Strategy Part 2
Remain positive
I have decided to change my mindset about section 3 in order to drive my commitment to achieve a high scoring mark for this section.
Rather than saying it is difficult, I will say that section 3 is easy.
This is the following plan to prepare for this section in 1-2 months.
- Focus on questions from previous experiences
- Revise notes for section 3
- Fraser online questions
- Grad Ready
- Des O'Neils
- Jesse Osborne
- Acer
- Establish structured process for answering section 3 questions - different questions and their skill requirements
- Ensure efficiency for section 3 - 10 questions in 7 minutes
LETS GO!!!!!
Process:
- Read, interpret and short note the information provided
- Use the short notes made to correlate to the graphs provided or table etc
- Use interpretation skills to understand the piece of data provided
- Graph interpretation skills:
+ Units - The units besides the axis variable
+ Trend - Relationship between the axis variables
+ Axis - Information provided on the axis
+ Hints - hints about variables in graph or table
- Read the question and answers to understand what they are looking for exactly - the peace of information or data
- Create a plan on how to clearly execute and find the answer to the questions - one of the most important parts of the process - If you do not have a plan to answer the question than you really have no correct answer
- Process of elimination to select the best possible answer
