Sacrifice

Sacrifice

I'm faced with a decision that I have to make for my future.

Understanding my current position in life:

  • Finances are a priority to save for a property
  • Education is a priority for my future
  • I have no children in my current situation
  • I have no massive liabilities apart from my student loan debt

I want to reverse engineer my goals to know exactly what decisions that I want to make in order to place myself in the position that I want to be in for the future.

My future goals include:

  • Long term stability in employment
  • Further education
  • Owning property
  • Having and creating a family that is financially secure

Right now:

  • I am currently unemployed
  • Have several trajectories that I can go towards

My options include:

  • High Risk: Continue taking a break and studying until March for the test - increase my chances of doing well in this test by investing more time in this. This will sacrifice several aspects of my life which include finances and career progression.
  • Low Risk: Go into working in community pharmacy long term - career progression into becoming a manager/ business operations manager/ owner/ etc. This pathway is available, however I have been presented with a unique opportunity to progress my career in hospital pharmacy which I can continue to build on.
  • Medium Risk: Stay single, play this hand that I am given while studying for the test.

The hand I am dealt, I take this hand and do what I can.

I place my faith in you throughout this journey.

Through the bad and through the good, I walk with no fear but faith.
